Ok this kind of feels like cheating but it seems like everyone has an idea of what they want to write about so I'm ok with it. As some people know I plan on writing a mystery hockey book which I think will be quite fun. The research aspect of my book involves finding out a bit more about the profession of hockey scouting. As such I will be reading a book on scouting hockey.
In addition for fun I will be reading A book by Don Cherry for both anecdotes and maybe some inspiration.
Did you remember to order those books? I hope they help a lot!
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to read more about the curse, and how the hockey scout plays into it. You can make great use of flashbacks, since your scout has a hockey-playing past, right?
ReplyDeleteI could although I haven't actually thought about using flashbacks...I wonder if I could work that in...maybe a personal curse...hmmm this is getting interesting...lots of ideas floating around right now.
