Hey guys I just wanted to thank everyone for the really nice comments. Makes me feel better about my writing!
I believe Jill asked for more Tim O'Shea once upon a time so here he is making a return to the world of Marcus. After the devastating fire they are off to Boston to find Who else but Bruin the Bear.
Marcus awoke in the middle of a house in Sarnia. Yup Sarnia. Weird eh. He awoke with a young man who looked vaguely familiar looking over him.
Naturally the young was shirtless which caused Marcus a little bit of pain.
The young man had perfectly chiseled abs and greasy long hair. He looked like he could fit in with trailer park family or if he wanted as an adopted OC character. The young man was of course Tim O’Shea.
“Tim, why are you in heaven.” Marcus asked groggily.
Tim smiled. It was that stupid charming smile that everyone melted for. “Ahh Mr. Lesage you’re not dead I promise you that. If you were in heaven I wouldn’t have so many problems with the ladies of course.”
Marcus seriously doubted that Tim had problems with the ladies but then again he did live in Sarnia and really what was there in Sarnia. I should say who is there in Sarnia.
“Why Tim am I in…Sarnia?” Marcus asked.
“Your guardian angel brought you here. And you are actually in Beechwood.” Tim answered.
“See Tim I know that you’re lying there is not a place called Beechwood anywhere.” Marcus replied snappily.
“Suit yourself. Your nickname is pretty stupid if I do say so myself.” Tim shot back. Zing! Touche smart ass kid…Touche!
Marcus tried to get up. He could barely move his legs. Tim piped up. “Marcus I highly doubt that you can walk right know. You know what those guys did to your knee. Plus it was already fucked up previously.”
“How do you know so much about me kid?” Marcus asked him.
“Wikipedia.” Tim said shortly.
Marcus smiled. He had a Wikipedia article. He had been hoping for one for a while.
He had to check it as soon as soon as he figured out what the fuck was going on.

Yay! I loved your post. I loved that part about "i should say who is there in Sarnia". And I love Tim! Can't wait for our epic writing session tonight.
ReplyDeletehahaha in the midst of all that pain, Marcus can still be happy that he has a Wikipedia article. That's so 2009.
ReplyDeleteI'm wondering if there will be any clues in the article...
I love Tim! Damn it, that smile makes me melt every time. And I love the shout out to my fictional town of Beechwood! Scott, your novel is really intensely funny as well as intensely suspenseful.
